17 inch horseshoe by Mel Bartels

I built this 17 inch for a friend. We attached a 6 inch finder scope. We took this scope to Arizona to view Halley's Comet, ending up observing from David Levy's driveway in Tucson (he wasn't home, but a house guest was there). It proved a fine scope for film astrophotography.
